The Sportsman in Seasalter Whitstable, is a very well known name in the fine dining community. Hence it was no surprise when it was named "UK's Best Restaurant" in the 2017 National Restaurant Awards. It is now a well known name with restaurant critics and fine diners alike, with weekend tables being booked up months in advance.

The Sportsman has held a Michelin star since 2008 and provides good food in relaxed and informal surroundings.

The Sportsman is a few kilometers along the beach from Whitstable town centre. Sitting a short walk from The Sportsman and being one of the closest accommodation providers, we see ourselves as the place to stay when you'd like to visit The Sportsman without the stress of a timely commute.
